I make photographs across California, most often in the Sierra Nevada and Yosemite Valley.
I go back to the same places again and again, paying attention to light, conditions, and small changes over time. On rare occasions, an outing produces a portfolio-worthy photograph. Most of the time, the reward is just being there to try.
